Good location isn’t enough

The hotel was well located for our visit to Greenwich and the O2. Parking is restricted so would advise guests to reserve in advance. The room was clean and big enough given it was London and staff all friendly. The issue was that the aircon did not work properly - we had 2 warm nights and if you tried to turn the aircon temperature down it cut off. Do we slept with open windows but given street noise was 2 nights with poor sleep. I noticed others mentioned aircon issues so maybe time to get it sorted

I regret that you found the temperature of your room to be too warm and am very sorry if this prevented you from enjoying a good sleep. Our Ibis hotels have an ‘air cooling’ system in place which does differ from air conditioning and this system is partly dependant on the external temperature. According to expected weather conditions for the time of year, the heating was on rather than the cooling system. As in actuality it was unseasonably warm at the time of your stay, I can only apologise if this system was not sufficiently effective on this occasion. Also, please note that we are currently displaying info in all bedrooms to inform guests about how our system work and that they can request fans/heaters if needed. We appreciate your suggestion regarding parking reservations: unfortunately this would not be an option as there is no way for us to block spaces in advance: our car park works on first comes firs served basis. Alternatives are available in the area should our car park be full. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future and provide you with a more comfortable stay. Ticks all the boxes as clean very basic accommodation hotel Very funky great for back packers or people traveling light, very tight rooms and very tight bathroom area, we only stayed a couple nights could not do it for much longer, close to gmt and a big old ship and train station

However, we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the tightness of the rooms and bathroom area. We understand that this may not be suitable for longer stays. If it wasnt for the gact of we had to get to a reservation i would have asked to change The bathroom was very dim and stunk like a urinal Air-conditioning did not work,room was stuffy and had to sleep with the window open which overlooked the aircon systems which were nice and noisy My father and sister had a ground floor room that was like a dungeon it had no window with twin beds which may as well have been a double bed as they were crammed in

I basically paid £129 for one night to get: -Wifi with very bad connectivity -Shampoo & Shower Gel bottle almost empty (had to ask a staff member to change them as only one of us could have a shower) - Pillows as thin as a sheet of paper (thank you for the neck pain and the bad sleep) - TV that kept on crashing while trying to choose the channel - A/C that, despite setting it up to 25 degrees, kept on blasting very cool air Very disappointed in this location, I am not used to writing reviews, but this one..... abysmal experience

It's upsetting to read about the WiFi's poor connectivity, as well as the limited supply of shampoo and shower gel. In addition, we apologise for the discomfort caused by the thin pillows, as well as the annoyance of the TV and air conditioning not working properly. Friendly and welcoming staff. Clean rooms with comfortable beds. The hotel is in a great location for visiting Greenwich and the O2. Attractions, restaurants, bars and public transportation are all nearby. There was a good selection at breakfast.
